Securing a Foundation for Life and Livelihood

Introduction:
Land is more than property; it is home, identity, and the means to a sustainable livelihood. For decades, many in our communities have been landless. We work alongside these families to secure their fundamental right to land, advocating for fair reform and supporting sustainable farming practices.

Our Key Initiatives:

  • The Landless People’s Alliance: Building a powerful coalition in Gampaha District to advocate for equitable land distribution.

  • Legal Advocacy: Supporting communities in their legal struggles for land ownership and tenure security.

  • Sustainable Agriculture: Promoting farming methods that ensure food security and protect the environment.

Our Impact:

  • Established the Landless People’s Alliance, a key body for collective action and advocacy.

  • Continually applied pressure for policy reform and governmental action on land rights.

Support our fight for a place to call home and land to cultivate.
